Made By Cow’s Cold Pressed Raw Lactose Free Milk offers a creamy, fresh taste with the benefit of lactose removal. The milk is taken straight from Friesian cows in northern Victoria, where they graze freely on lush pasture. After bottling, it undergoes Made By Cow’s innovative cold high-pressure method, which provides an equivalent level of safety to standard pasteurisation—but without using heat.
Because the milk is not heat pasteurised, homogenised, separated or standardised, it retains more of its natural character, including calcium, protein and vitamins. To make it lactose free, a lactase enzyme is added, breaking down naturally occurring lactose to make the milk suitable for people who would otherwise avoid it due to lactose intolerance*.
