The name of this short and unique pasta, derives from its curious shape, which resembles that of a Calamari (or squid) rings. Calamarata is often combined with seafood and is served on important occasions or simply at lunch with family or friends. The ring shape allows you to fill it with creams or fresh fish tartare for an all-Mediterranean meal based on Pasta di Gragnano PGI.
Mamma Isa pasta is PGI Certified Gragnano Pasta, bronze-die, slowly dried at low temperatures, made with 100% Italian durum wheat semolina and local spring water. Contains a minimum of 14% protein, firm to cooking and highly digestible.
