We made this rice at our last market night as a side dish, and we got so many compliments about it that we decided to share the recipe!
It’s so cheap and simple. Let’s Make One Pot Bone Broth Rice:
Ingredients
1 cup chopped cabbage
Handful of frozen peas
Half a red onion
Half a capsicum
1 tsp turmeric powder
Dollop bone broth (we used Best of the Bone)
Dollop of ghee (we used Sol Ghee)
1 cup rice
2 cups water
Salt if needed
Preparation
1. Heat ghee with bone broth and onion + add the rest of the veggies.
2. Add rice and water. Bring to boil and then bring the heat right down and cover with a lid- no peeking!
3. After 10 mins, turn off the heat and keep the lid on until you’re ready to eat
