Nourish Retreat at Noosa North Shore

Nourish Retreat at Noosa North Shore: A Retreat of Rejuvenation and Heart Inspired Living

We recently gathered for a magical weekend at the Nourish Retreat, hosted at the beautiful Noosa North Shore. Surrounded by native trees, curious kangaroos, and the laughter of kookaburras, our retreat guests enjoyed a truly heart-inspired experience. It was a time to slow down, reconnect with nature, and nourish body and soul with holistic practices and delicious, health-focused food.

The Nourish Retreat was a celebration of community, nature, and mindful living. We are incredibly grateful for the support of all the wonderful brands and businesses that contributed their products to make this retreat so special. It was a weekend that truly fed the soul, nourished the body and inspired a deeper connection with the heart.

The culinary experience was nothing short of exceptional. We savoured heart-inspired meals featuring the freshest organic produce and artisanal products. Our colourful salads were elevated by vibrant broccoli sprouts from Woodford Microgreens. The flavourful dishes were complemented by Spiral Foods’ umami-rich garlic sauce and a sprinkle of their delicious furikake seasoning.

The retreats menu wouldn’t be complete without the warming, comforting flavours of Love My Earths Dahl and Kitchari, which paired beautifully with an array of delicious side salads and seasoned with Maleny Cuisines flavourful sauces and chutneys. Throughout the weekend, guests enjoyed an array of fresh, organic produce from Greensmith Grocers, as well as a selection of herbal teas from both Mindful Foods, Love Tea & Roogenic. And thanks to Bennetto we were never short of delicious choccy!

The culinary journey continued with nutrient rich bone broth from Gevity, which added depth, flavour and gut healing properties to our meals. Their chocolate even made its way into a delightful banana ice cream, providing a sweet yet wholesome treat. A couple of mornings we invigorated our senses with Pyewackets fire cider tonic, and in the afternoons a refreshing mocktail created from their shrubs. Breakfast tasted a whole bunch yummier with Mindful Foods Eros granola & Bircher and the addition of the Mt Wilder stewed strawberries to our overnight bircher made it super delicious, especially with a little bee pollen sprinkled on top. Mt Wilder blueberries was the star in the blueberry and chia jam, we spread it atop some local Wonky Loaf Sourdough toasted to perfection. We also incorporated collagen peptides, enhancing our daily nourishment.

Jess shared daily kitchen bench workshops, sharing some of her favourite tips and tricks to inspire us in the kitchen. She also offered an insightful tea education session, sharing the art and nourishing qualities of various teas – a real treat for both tea enthusiasts and new comers alike.

The retreat was filled with memorable activities that truly embodied the essence of “nourish”. Our days began with gentle, grounding qi gong sessions led by Bel, helping us connect with our breath and the natural rhythm around us. Guests also indulged in relaxing Yoga Nidra with Lindy, sinking into deep relaxation. The combined Qi Gong & Yin Yoga session provided a perfect balance of movement and stillness, allowing participants to feel rejuvenated and energised.

A highlight for many was the luxury of experiencing a Japanese facial, which left everyone looking and feeling radiant and refreshed. And, our in-house Naturopath Desley guided us in crafting beautiful, heart inspired creams, each adding a signature blend of essential oil scents as a personal touch for our self-care routines.

We are so looking forward to welcoming you to our next retreat (Bali, March 2025), where we will continue to share the joy of healthy living, local culture and holistic practices in beautiful Ubud, Bali. Stay tuned for more updates from Greensmith Grocers, and don’t miss our upcoming Christmas Market Night where we celebrate the abundance of our local farmers, makers, and growers.

With gratitude for every shared moment and memory,

Jess, Bel, Lindy & The Greensmith Grocers Team
